Some of us from UNT made our way down to Gruene this last weekend to check out theĀ  Texas Clay Festival. The weather was nice. The beer was just cold enough and there were more pots than I could afford. My favorites that I saw this weekend were Keith Kreeger, Stan Irvin, Diana Kersey, and Hank Drennon

We had a pretty good time in Gruene and meeting some new people. If you haven’t been its worth the drive and makes a good weekend outing.

So here are some items that I have been working on over the last couple of weeks. I am gearing up for my next firing in a couple of weeks. Just letting everything dry out right now then off to bisque. But new items include some slip cast stacking jars, slip cast bowls, slip cast serving bowls, trough spout teapots, candle stick holders etc…. hope you enjoy.

Four of us who were involved in the 9 Bodies 18 Hands show at the 18 Hands Gallery went down to Houston for the opening this weekend. For those of you who have never been it is well worth checking out. Plus the owners and community associated with it are super friendly and very nice.
